WHAT:    Public Information Meeting regarding Border-to-Border Trail construction

WHY:The Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission  (WCPARC), Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC), Lyndon Township, and the Huron Waterloo Pathways Initiative (HWPI), and  the Michigan  Department  of Natural Resources  (MDNR)  will  hold  a  public  informational  meeting  on  Wednesday February 28, 2018 at 6 pm at the Lyndon Township Hall regarding the construction of a new segment of the Border-to-Border Trail (B2B).

PUBLIC HEARING ON MASTER PLAN


Please take notice that a public hearing will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 7:00 P.M. at a regular meeting of the Lyndon Township Planning Commission at the Lyndon Township Hall, 17751 N. Territorial Road, Chelsea, MI 48118. 

At this meeting, the Planning Commission will consider and hold a public hearing on the proposed Master Plan.  The Plan provides recommendations for protection of rural character, farmland, and natural resources, residential, commercial, and industrial development, roads and public facilities and services.  This public hearing has been set to formally receive community input.

Copies of the proposed Master Plan are available for public review during regular office hours on Tuesday and Thursday from 9AM to Noon.  Copies are available for purchase, based on the cost of duplication by contacting the Township at 734-475-2401 or by email:  officemgratlyndon@gmail.com.  The Plan can also be sent via E-mail in PDF form by contacting the Township or is available on the Lyndon Township website at:

Written comments may be sent to: Janet Gilkey, Office Manager, Lyndon Township, 17751 N. Territorial Road, Chelsea, MI 48118 prior to the start of the public hearing on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at 7:00 PM.

This notice is posted in compliance with the Open Meetings Act, 1976 PA 267, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and published in compliance with the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act, 2006 PA 110.

2018 MARCH BOARD OF REVIEW MEETINGS


As required by the General Property Tax Act, public notice is hereby given by the Lyndon Township that the 2018 March Board of Review will meet on the following days at the Lyndon Township Hall located at 17751 North Territorial Rd; Chelsea Michigan for the purpose of reviewing the 2018 assessment roll, hearing requests, protests, or application for corrections of assessed or tentative taxable values:


PUBLIC APPEAL HEARINGS:
 Monday March 12th, 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. , & 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Tuesday March 13th, 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., & 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Letter appeals are also accepted in lieu of personal appearance and must be received no later than March 13th by 3:30 pm.
